We are located on Highway 10 in the Village of Chatsworth, only 12 km south of Owen Sound. We provide high quality honey and honey products to the region. Now available online too!

Varietal Honey

The floral source of honey determines its colour and flavour. Sample our different varieties:
Summer Flower, Autumn Blossom, Basswood and Buckwheat.

Candles

We produce beeswax and our own hand-dipped 100% beeswax candles. We also sell maple syrup and beeswax based cosmetics.

A TASTE of Honey

All our honey is unpasteurized. Our Ontario No. 1 honey is warmed gently and gravity strained through a screen cloth to remove beeswax and other impurities. Our raw honey is double settled, unstrained, and freshly bottled after extraction. The only thing more natural is our comb honey, straight from the beehive.

Locally Produced

We have been maintaining our honey bee colonies using only organic acids to control mite populations, along with tried and true management techniques.

Chatsworth Honey has been an active participant in the Ontario Resistant Honey Bee Selection (ORHBS) program for over 25 years. Gentle, winter hardy, great honey producers, Chatsworth Honey breeder queens are also selected based on top results in the liquid nitrogen test for hygienic behaviour.
